Humane Audio Drama

A six-part podcast produced by True Name Theatre & John Ainsworth, 2021

‘Humane’ by Polly Creed, adapted from the stage version into an audio drama starring Louise Jameson and Marcia Lecky.

Released with a series of collaborators including Pleasance Theatre, Arcola Theatre and Compassion in World Farming.

Humane is about a series of protests against the export of live animals in the small fishing port, Brightlingsea, Essex in 1995. It explores the contradictory nature of activism and how it can at once create community but also further division.
