Imy Wyatt Corner is a theatre director based in London, staging mostly new work and some classics.

She has a text-based practice and is driven by visual metaphor, design and images. Her work is designed to raise questions using a mixture of realism and magical realism. Recently she has been integrating live music into her work.
Her work won a Fringe First Award (BEASTS by Mandi Chivasa) and the Charlie Hartill Award (DUCK by maatin). She was awarded both the Nicole Kidman Bursary from MGC Futures to write and develop her debut play with the Kiln Theatre, and a DYCP grant from Arts Council England to explore opera direction. She was shortlisted for the RTST Sir Peter Hall Award in 2025.
She was Mackintosh Resident Assistant Director at Kiln Theatre from 2024-5, Artistic Associate at the Arcola Theatre from 2023-4, and Creative Associate at Jermyn Street Theatre from 2022-23. She has spoken on industry panels at the V&A Museum, Pleasance Theatre, and New York University, and was guest director at the University of Cambridge. In 2024, she contributed a chapter to 50 Years of Feminist Theatre: Then and Now (Aurora Metro).
She also works as a freelance dramaturg and script reader and has worked with theatres such as Hampstead Theatre, Kiln Theatre and Arcola Theatre.
She trained on the Drama Directing MA at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
